I got married during the last year of my Chemistry PhD. We started our long married life in the basement flat that Cats provided for us in Brooklands Avenue. In memory of Mary who died last year.

Catz changed my life in many good ways back in the early 1960's ! One is that Jan (at Homerton) and I met in February 1963 which led to us getting married in 1965 so we now celebrate 61 wonderful years together.

Helping to sustain this brilliant Cambridge College, which is so full of happy memories for me.

I’m making this donation in memory of my tutor at Catz, Dr John Little , who made me feel very welcome when I arrived and supported during my time here. I hope it helps new students going forward.
